The Felt Spring Bouquet: flower by flower towards spring

Starts 15 November 2026 | Five months of making together | €119.50

How lovely would it be to welcome spring with a large handmade bouquet on your table, ready to bring out again year after year?

Over the past year, I have designed five different flowers from wool felt. Each flower was carefully tested and adjusted until the shapes, colours and different stages of bloom came together in a natural-looking bouquet.

Starting on 15 November, we will create this felt spring bouquet together over five months.

A rich bouquet filled with different flowers

During the project, you will make:

  • three different magnolia branches, from closed bud to open flower;
  • six tulips;
  • three full peonies;
  • three branches of delicate field forget-me-nots;
  • five drumstick flowers;
  • a selection of green branches and leaves to complete the bouquet.

You will also receive detailed arranging instructions and tips for distributing the flowers throughout the bouquet. Of course, you can experiment with the arrangement yourself. Place all the flowers together in one large vase, divide them between several smaller vases or give individual flowers a place on your seasonal table.

A complete materials box

Before the project begins, you will receive a carefully assembled materials box containing everything that forms the basis of the complete bouquet.

The box contains a rich palette of wool felt, selected to complement all the flowers, leaves and green branches. You will receive plenty of felt to make each flower several times and to show the different stages of bloom.

The box also includes stuffing wool and several types and thicknesses of wire. This gives each flower exactly the strength and flexibility it needs, from sturdy magnolia branches to the delicate stems of the forget-me-nots.

You only need to have matching thread, a needle, sharp scissors and a small pair of pliers ready.

A new pattern every month

Starting on 15 November, you will receive a new detailed digital pattern every month for five months. Each pattern includes clear step-by-step instructions, plenty of photographs and a hand-drawn pattern sheet.

You do not need to be an experienced felt maker. The patterns guide you carefully through each flower. Because you receive one new part every month, you have plenty of time to let your bouquet grow flower by flower.

In the final month, you will also receive the patterns and instructions for the additional greenery, together with tips for arranging the complete bouquet.

Making together in our private group

During the project, you will have access to a private group for all participants. Here you can share your progress and photographs, ask questions and see how the other makers’ bouquets are taking shape.

Everyone begins with the same design, but the small differences in shape, position and arrangement will make every bouquet completely unique.

A bouquet made without glue

Many felt flowers are assembled using a glue gun. My flowers are made entirely from wool felt, needle, thread and wire.

Every petal, stem and flower centre is sewn and shaped by hand. Small differences in the position of the flowers and the curves of the stems are what make the bouquet feel alive.

Some flowers are made in different stages of bloom: closed, half-open and fully open. This creates a natural-looking bouquet that will never be exactly the same as anyone else’s.

Year after year on your spring table

After five months, you will have a large handmade bouquet that can return to your home every spring. The flowers will never wilt, and you can arrange them differently each time.

Perhaps it will become a permanent part of your spring table, you might create a different arrangement every year or occasionally give an individual flower as a handmade gift.
