The Spring Bouquet: flower by flower towards spring

Imagine placing a large handmade bouquet on your table at the beginning of spring and bringing it out again every year.

Over the past year, I have gradually designed five different flowers from wool felt. Each flower was carefully tested and adjusted until all the shapes and stages of bloom formed a natural bouquet together.

The flowers are now finished. I am currently designing the leaves and branches that will complete the bouquet.

Five months of making together

This Spring Bouquet will soon become a large shared project. We will begin in early November 2026. Before the project starts, you will receive a generous felt kit at home containing all the materials you need, along with extra tips for arranging your flowers. Over five months, you will receive one new digital pattern each month, with clear instructions, photographs and a hand-drawn template sheet. During the final month, you will create the drumstick flowers as well as the foliage for the bouquet.

You do not need to be an experienced felt maker. The patterns guide you through every flower step by step, while the monthly pace gives you plenty of time to complete each one.

A bouquet made without glue

Many felt flowers are assembled with a hot glue gun. My flowers are made entirely from wool felt, needle, thread and wire.

Every petal, stem and flower centre is stitched and shaped by hand. Small differences in the position of the flowers and the curve of the stems make the bouquet feel alive.

Some flowers are made at different stages of bloom: closed, half open and fully blooming. You can make several of each flower, and the kit will contain enough felt to do so.

Made to return year after year

After five months, you will have a complete bouquet that can return to your spring table every year. You can also use the flowers separately in a small vase, on your seasonal table or as a handmade gift.

I am currently putting the finishing touches to both the bouquet and the pattern sheets. The exact starting date, price and complete contents of the materials kit will be announced soon.
